My office just sent out guidance to all staff to work from home until further notice.

We have no confirmed cases but we travel a lot internationally. We are also told not to travel as well.

This is really getting freaky and having a huge impact on everyone and everything. I suspect we are heading for recession no matter what.

Best case scenario is 'only' a recession.
Honestly, I think we are in for a really bad time, much worse than we can even imagine right now.

I so hope I'm wrong. But I fear that I could be right.

My daughter and I are actually trying to go out to eat more often just so we won’t lose the few good restaurants that we have here in our part of East Texas.

They are getting rid of road warriors and people who will be on the bench for a while.

Welcome to the trump slump.

At least until the 27th or until further notice. I went to my neighborhood grocery store after work and there was no toilet paper. I have a bidet and just needed Kleenex (allergy season has struck early), but it kind of freaked me out a little. Lots of empty shelves.

We, the union workers, are expected to stay on the front lines. I would stay anyway, I feel I belong there, taking care of our patients, but it is pretty obvious who they think expendable.
