Found out that my nephew and his family left on a cruise today...

He's an avid trumper and I can well imagine he thinks coronavirus is a hoax or no different than a common flu. His Dad went with him and I'm not sure if he has an underlying condition. His little girl Jessie went with them.

That whole side of my family has me worried. My sister, his mother, still won't believe this is any worse than the flu no matter what I've told her and the articles I've shared with her. Her daughter is a nurse and isn't taking it seriously either.

We're all from Oklahoma. I left and they stayed. They only believe Fox Noise, too.

I’ve been on a bunch of cruises. It’s not my favorite way to vacation but I generally have fun.

I actually went through with a previously scheduled trip to Paris the day after the 2015 attacks when a lot of people were telling me to cancel so while I’m not a daredevil im also not irrationally risk averse either. But there’s no cruise ship in the world I’d get on right now.

With 4-5 thousand people on board they are floating incubators for plague. And playing the odds there’s a pretty good chance at least one person onboard is infected, and then if they are infected...
