Note: Something is wrong with Johns Hopkin's worldwide COVID-19 tracking updates...

It seems to have reverted back to the data from several days (up to a week ago).

NYT seems to still have it right"

The coronavirus epidemic has sickened more than 135,400 people, according to official counts. As of Friday morning, at least 4,988 people have died, including 1,808 outside of mainland China. As the map below shows, infected people have been detected in at least 111 countries.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/world/coronavirus-maps.html

The JH site shows (this AM): 91,773 cases worldwide and 3,337 deaths.

Probably good to track a number of sites if you are tracking closely.

This group is using the latest technology to track US cases based on State Health Department (and local health department) findings in REAL time. I find it useful:

It's updating every few minutes (but it does update in bursts). It shows more cases than the NYT US tracker and is updated much more frequently.

The DUer who posted it yesterday (maybe it was you) said it is the site most used by medical professionals, and it's easy to understand why.

Spain has approx. 4000, of which 2000 in Madrid. Regions are now locking down. When they close all the small bars here, you know it's serious.

No, it appears that some hack has impacted them. See posts above.

I’ve checked that site several times over the past 24 hrs and it’s barely changed. Needless to say I doubt the virus has suddenly stopped spreading.
