GILLUM: "I was in Miami last night for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends. While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines."

with addiction. In the end, I suspect Gillum will use this tragedy to help others. For the moment the optics look terrible.

Gillum will be grieving and should be allowed to have that time.

If they didn’t test then obviously they won’t find them in his system.

Or didn’t know what was in the room.

Of course I’m assuming a couple of things but I have no reason to doubt Gillum.

If he was a republican, this would be no problem. Unfortunately, he's a Democrat and this is going to be a problem for him. I really had high hopes for him. I hope he can get through this.
