Other places would have rapidly rising case numbers too if they were testing as widely. Expect numbers in CA to shoot up now that Stanford, the UC medical centers, etc are doing in-house tests.

The spread, and the economic costs of the spread, are deeply rooted in Trump's maladministration of testing from the very beginning.

I'll see if I can find the article, but good news in the sense that they'll finally know how bad this is if they can test people like in South Korea.

I should be good. Because I read DU, I knew about all of this weeks before it was to happen, so I'd been planning in case I had to stay home for a few weeks. I'm on Day 2 of a 14 day self-isolation, my humble attempt to help "flatten the curve" so I don't become a burden on the local ER or ICU.
