Canada's PM Justin Trudeau in self-isolation after test confirms wife has COVID-19
Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has gone into self-isolation for 14 days after his wife Sophie tested positive for COVID-19.
The PM has shown no symptoms of the virus. Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau had just returned from a trip to the United Kingdom.
The Canadian government is advising no international travel and is considering restrictions on who is allowed into the country.
"As you have seen, there are recommendations not to travel outside of Canada. We're in the midst of coordinating with the Americans, obviously, on our borders, on our actions," Trudeau told Radio Canada in an interview from home.
