(13,776 posts)It's nice that instead of just a suggestion box they actually consider the possibility that their employees would deserve a thank you, so they have a separate form for that.
If your grocery store doesn't have those forms, I'm sure it would mean the world if you sent a thank-you letter to the entire staff to put on the bulletin board!

(649 posts)Whether picking up our refuse, driving a bus or performing open heart surgery, everyone who does a job makes an invaluable contribution to society and should earn a living wage.
Im not suggesting bus drivers should earn the same as brain surgeons. I am saying that if you drive a bus for 40 hours a week you should be paid a salary sufficient to keep you and your family well sheltered, fed, clothed and medically and dentally cared for.

The belts are laden with food, three layers average.
And double-bagging almost always.
Add to this one douchebag customer who was intent on getting me fired last night.

(8,814 posts)feel emboldened to say/do whatever they feel these days.
Of course, the douchebag customer could be a Trumphumper who finally realized that they have been conned.
Hell hath no fury like a worshipper conned????????.
Wow. Now there is a fantasy. Fifty Million TrumpHumpers flipping and becoming pissed off at him, his entire administration and the entire collective group of Republican House Members and Republican Senators.
It would be a literal tar and feathering of Biblical proportions...........

(20,577 posts)I was just in my fave store along with hundreds of other people. They are trying to use the usually unused checkout counters and the computers do not want to cooperate. They are doing the best they can - with smiles!

(20,629 posts)doing an amazing job to keep things as "normal" as possible under the circumstances. I was shocked by how much of what I wanted was still there for purchase...

(266 posts)My baby girl is on the grocery store front lines and she's coming home, having been slammed all day and staying late and getting barked at by people all day. As her mother, I worry about all the people she's coming into close contact with. Most people, I think, are patient and kind through this crisis. But it only takes one . . .

The POS in the White House so fed up people are losing their minds.
