All that after more than 3 MILLION more voters chose her.

(9,313 posts)...with the most insidious being the cut back of resources in "certain areas" leading to obscenely long lines -- lines that, at best guess, discourage about 1 in 10 voters.
Coupling that with overconfidence (she can't lose, so my vote doesn't really matter) did her in.
We have an enormous job going into Nov. We have to turn out enough votes to overcome the suppression (and many states have gotten VERY good at setting up barriers).
Fighting to ensure truly free and fair elections has to be at the top of the agenda of every state, every progressive organization, and across the Democratic Party. We must guarantee that every voter can cast their vote easily (whether they decide to vote in advance of, or on election day), and can be confident that it was counted accurately (audit trail).
We probably can't get there by Nov, but we must get there over the next few years. if this party is to survive.
