What if things get bad enough in America that mass reverse migration begins?
Would Canada or Mexico let us in?
It's been said in the press that many of the ultra-wealthy with their families have already headed for isolation in their yachts and private planes to restricted areas around the globe.
I hope they run out of toilet paper......

(9,313 posts)When I heard about another COVID-19 positive Trump has been in close contact with, I thought, "I bet he's in the incubating but contagious stage." (very transmissible)
It brought a momentary smile.
Then I thought "That's horrible. What's wrong with you? He would be exposing everyone he interacts with."
Given the number of people that is, he would infect far more than the average R zero.
I don't want that.
We must test, test, test (as Pelosi points out).
We must test people who, because of their jobs, continue to interact regularly with groups of other people. Given the rate of transmission from incubating, asymptotic, folks, we must test whether these people are symptomatic or not.
And that means testing Trump.
If the man is positive, quarantine him. He can tweet his heart out and hold pressers from an isolated area of the residence.

We must not allow our medical, political and public safety structures break down. Anarchy during a pandemic would be fatal to us all.
As the old saying in recovery circles goes: "you can't take care of others if you don't take good care of yourself."
This should be done regardless of politics or any other prejudices. COVID-19 knows not border, political party, race, religion or culture.
