Oh, God. This is gross. Look at the photograph of this loser: http://www.jsonline.com/news/crime/embezzlement-probe-also-results-in-sex-charges-he3mkqc-136793718.html
The John Doe investigation into Milwaukee political scandalousness under Scott Walkers watch took a turn for the pornographic, according to the Journal-Sentinel:
The secret John Doe investigation into embezzlement of funds intended for veterans also produced a jarring unrelated sex crime case against the domestic partner of a former top aide to Gov. Scott Walker.
Brian Pierick, 48, was charged Thursday with child enticement and exposing genitals, felonies related to a series of text messages he exchanged with a 17-year-old Waukesha boy in 2010, according to the criminal complaint.
Pierick is named in the complaint as the domestic and business partner of Timothy Russell, the former Walker aide. And while Russell is not charged in the case, the complaint states Pierick was acting with a co-conspirator in attempting to lure the 17-year-old into Russells van for a sexual encounter. Other evidence showed the men used the screen name Walker04″ to procure online porn involving young boys.

(27,985 posts)This is big and the investigator has made it clear they are not done. I really want that John Doe to pop something fierce on Walker just before recall election.
There are some other potentially hot cases pending
Cases against the changes to collective bargaining, the voter ID bill and this potentially big thing just happened on redistricting: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1084400
It's going to be another VERY interesting year in Wisconsin.

(27,985 posts)Russell is, or at least was until recently, treasurer of the Republican Party of Milwaukee County.
He also was a board member and treasurer of the Soldiers Home Foundation from 2008 to 2010. His name has been scrubbed from the foundation website, but here's the archive listing him as treasurer as late as July 2011.

(198 posts)here in Northeastern Wisconsin the Gannett owned newspapers are downplaying the Pierick story to the max, only mentioning it in passing. The local T.V. news stations opened the newscasts on Thursday evening with Walker claiming he initiated the investigation on his former aides, and had nothing to do with the thefts. Although this is a clear cut case of utter Walker corruption, the media, in this part of the state at least, are doing thier best to muddy the waters and ignore most of the facts. So what else is new?
