Decades ago, I worked for/with hospitals. In one, when the census was low, the Administrator actually prayed for a flu epidemic. In another, managed by a religious group, they always prayed for God to help them make more money. These were county, not-for-profit hospitals.

They will handle what they can under current capacities. Overflows will have to go into storage or mass graves.

No gov't agency has asked them to do anything else.

This is all going to blow over next month when it warms up (sarcasm).

You may want to get some body bags in case someone in your house dies, because there might not be anyone to come and get them.
