Remember, social distancing does not mean you can't go out. Just keep 6 feet away from others.

Go for a walk, sit outside. Ride your bike, Enjoy your friends with a little more space between you. All these are okay dokay.

When you get groceries or goods, try to keep the 6 foot rule in play, but don't freak out if you can't. 100% of this rule should only be considered by those individuals at extremely high risk due to age, chronic or temporary illness.

100% isolation is not required for most of us 100% of the time.

That's about the length of most public transit buses when measuring them on the outside, not the inside, where the people will be a LOT closer together.

This afternoon I bought liquid chlorine for my pool. I intentionally stood about 12 feet behind the customer who was at the checkout counter. Next thing you know two young guys walk up behind me, puzzled at where I was standing: "Are you in line?"

"Yes, and standing further away as recommended due to the virus."

To my surprise, they didn't scoff at it. In fact, one said, "No, he's right. This will be happening."

I said, "Yes, but imagine trying it at Walmart."

I'm going to swim more, take more walks around the neighborhood at night, and play more golf. Next awkward situation is Tuesday when I have needed car repair, a radiator replacement. I'd like to do it myself but it looks a bit complicated without a lift. It's a very small waiting room that is always jammed. I think I'll walk around the area until they contact me that it's ready.

I prefer to limit my shopping. Each one of us will do what we feel is best for us. I do go outside a lot but just not to crowded facilities.
