Schools are closing, and a lot of parents are letting strangers keep their kids.

I'm a member of nextdoor.com, and there are a number of postings saying "I'll keep your kids in my house while you're at work".
I can't believe the number of people responding to them asking for address, when to bring them over, what to bring, etc.

My children are grown, but I feel like responding to them:
"Do you know CPR? Do you have dogs in the house? Do you have guns in the house that are not locked up? Are there any people living in the house who are not mentally stable or are sex offenders? How is the upkeep of your house? Do you have roaches or rodents? etc."

I know some people have to be at work, but they need to find a place that is safe for their children.

I've always taken care of little ones when they're sick, but don't dare do it now. This is a very tough situation for the nation's parents and kids.

that she didn't know if school closings would even be beneficial in stopping spread. I saw her on CNN yesterday.
