May 10, 2018: "When the next pandemic occurs (and make no mistake, it will)" this decision is why

When the next pandemic occurs (and make no mistake, it will) and the federal government is unable to respond in a coordinated and effective fashion to protect the lives of US citizens and others, this decision by John Bolton and Donald Trump will be why.

Top White House official in charge of pandemic response exits abruptly
Timothy Ziemer's departure Tuesday and the disbanding of his team at the National Security Council signal a downgrading of global health security as a priority, experts warn.

The irony here is that this is the last thing a self-described germaphobe like Trump should want to do. Maybe ignorance is bliss?

Time to resurrect the saying we adopted when the news about the existence of the Aug 6, 2001 Presidential Daily Brief became known:

They were WARNED!

Trump will not admit that he was "warned." He will lie and lie. Great Post, Thank You for posting. Stuart G Mar 2020 #1

Fer' instance, the "phobe" part apparently evaporates if it stands in the way of putting his mushroom where he wants it.

He's not to anxious about food preparation, either. He's a "germophobe" when it gives him an excuse to not do things he doesn't want to do, or at least to openly treat them as "icky".

Trump equates sickness and sickliness with weakness, and he doesn't want anything that has to do with that to be "on camera" in the viewscreen that is his eyeballs. Low ratings. Just edit that part out.

To Donnie-boy, Ignorance Is Strength.
