Grocery delivery -- NOT

Over the past few months I've had my groceries delivered. I order on line; the store gathers up the items, and a delivery service (in this case DoorDash) delivers the goods to my door.

I went online this morning and the grocery store has a notice that, due to high in store demand, they are temporarily suspending delivery.

Fortunately I was able to find another grocery chain that is delivering (using InstaCart), but they are more expensive and instead of same or next day delivery they will bring it Wednesday.

I hope this store doesn't stop delivery, or I'll be among the hordes at the store.

Paid for by credit card while placing my order.

Delivered to my car at pick-up location.

I never need to enter the store. Less germs.

There's a lot there too, so people shouldn't go hungry, but people need to be flexible both in terms of types of foods and brands.

We have senior/disabled transportation here in Pierce Co., WA for taking people to doctor's appointments. Call your nearest services and see if they have any help for you. Take care....

because they say they need their workers to do the in-store stockups, etc. and can't spare them for customer shopping. Sadly, this was what I was planning to use as my supplies diminished.

Their Peapod delivery is still in service, but running days behind.

I'm set for now, but eventually will have to go out for produce/perishables, making that my one-hour dash per week.

They usually deliver same day, but they are backed up currently and only delivering (Edit* here in Las Vegas) about 18 hours out.
