Which seems to be largely affluent white folks and poor dumb white folks. I know it an over generalization. The poor dumb white folks will start seeing the the affluent white folks are getting the best medical care while they are on cots in the halls and tents. It won’t be brown people hogging all the hospital beds. I wonder if they’ll start to figure that one out.

Reality for them will hit when the health care system becomes overwhelmed and they realize they won't be able to jump to the head of the line for care like they thought they would. You'll know who they are. They'll be the ones screaming the loudest when that time arrives. They're the ones when there's 500 people waiting for a seat on a 50-seat shuttle bus trying to cut their way to the front of the line without a care for anyone else in the process.

I’m a nurse. I start a new job this week, haven’t been in a hospital for a few weeks.
I told her it’s a real possibility that people who are used to just showing up/cared for/admitted at hospitals are gonna be soon storming/rioting at hospitals because they will be getting turned away. Her response: Well, hopefully, it won’t come to that.

Of course, she also poo-poo’d me back in February when I expressed concern that healthcare workers in Washington had been quarantined after exposure. It wasn’t til the first case showed up in HER city did she get alarmed. My response: Yeah, so, 24 MORE healthcare workers were exposed, this time in Georgia. Her: (crickets).

likes his VA services and I told him,wait till all those Vets in South Dakota hit his local and Souix Falls Clinics and the Hospital.

But,he sure hates that Socialist Medical Care those Hispanics,he used a different label, working at the local Cheese Making company are getting at his local for profit Clinic.

Since we are hearing the "were all going to die anyway" propaganda, then it's just a come to Jesus event and I am happy for their release. Many of them can only deal with it in the simplest of symbology since allegories and metaphors are not the level of thinking they are comfortable or adept at.

I think that it is good to contemplate death and a personal realization that death is inevitable can be philosophically intriguing and even fruit full when it comes to living life fully or integrally. However, when it comes to a culture, that's morbid, gallows talk that shows no common sense or respect for the dignity of life as it is and the people living it.

So, the "were all going to die" bandwagon should logically be responded to with a sincere: "bring out your dead!" Judgement Day, case closed. Bye! Now, on with the debacle for the rest of us.
