Have you seen what Trump's Turnberry resort has planned for next week, even as

other venues are shutting down to avoid spreading covid-19?

Professional boxing returns to Turnberry with a prestigious dinner event featuring both local and international talent.

About this Event

Our Saturday 21st March promotion with Wildcard Events will feature some of Scotland's finest boxing talent in addition to international talent.

Scottish Lightweight Champion Calvin McCord (W8 L0) will headline the promotion. The bill will also feature local Bantamweight talent Arran McGarvie (W2 L0) from Dailly.

Former Scottish Elite Amateur Champion Dennis Broadhurst from Dumfries will make his professional debut on the bill and Swedish Super-Welterweight Champion Ahmed Rossi (W7 L0) will also be in action.

Event guests will enjoy a 3 course dinner before the boxing action commences.

As long as they keep everyone else out, why not? It's not like people are freely travelling anywhere. When I think of boxing, the image that comes to mind is the sweat the flies off the body when the punch lands. That might skeeve me out.

That's 153 in about 5 million; the equivalent of about 10,000 in the USA. Scottish government advice is no gatherings of more than 500: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-51851341

Turnberry's boxing events under Trump do not have a good record:

and found Scotland..and nothing there. So I went back and looked at U.K....who would have thunk? There's Scotland. Their first case was on Wednesday, and now they have 60! They must have test kits. Looks like Trump will have to cut it off at 499.
