White House Doctor Claims Trump Tested Negative for COVID-19 But We Have No Reason to Believe Him

White House physician Sean Conley says President Donald Trump has tested negative for the new coronavirus. But the administration has been intentionally spreading disinformation, which gives us little confidence in the veracity of this most recent statement.

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham released a statement on Saturday that said after Conley had “an in-depth” conversation with the president late Friday night, Trump “elected to proceed” with having a COVID-19 test.

Conley wrote that on Saturday that he “received confirmation that the test is negative.”

Trump’s doctor added, “One week after having dinner with the Brazilian delegation in Mar-a-Lago, the President remains symptom-free.” Two people that Trump came in contact with from that dinner have since tested positive for COVID-19.

Remember these are the same doctors that say Trump weighs 239 lbs.

I weighed in at 233 this morning. I'm not as tall or as portly as Trump.

I want to express zero confidence in the WH on all matters and I put that propaganda in the same category as Russia's use of conspiracy theories to further its agenda. Neither is a reliable or accurate source of information concerning critical threats or emergencies.

I think that the information coming out of the WH has been demonstrably misleading, inaccurate and, in that case it is counterproductive and potentially very dangerous to our collective health, safety, economy and personal well being.

I prefer to seek advice from adult professionals who know what they are talking about and are not required to bow to and brown nose an obese titular head who is often seen in a red hat and Depends spouting things you might often hear in a crack house or a psychiatric ward.

There are reliable sources, but certainly not there at the sycophant station where job one is pleasing a deluded tyrant. I wasn't born yesterday, as they say.

there's a good chance he will be on a respirator soon if he is infected.

Somebody should put him on the spot and ask him directly. People have a right to know if that MoFo is spreading the virus around and lying about it.

Bald-faced lying is their first instinct for any potentially negative development. It's an office with zero credibility.

Also true that if he is infected it should start becoming apparent in another week.

Not excusing our pathologically dishonest WH here, but I wonder if more than just our own govt would initially try to avoid confirming a national leader has covid-19. The 1st ladies of Spain and Canada are infected but their husbands aren't? Possible, of course, but I'm not sure I really believe that, either.

It’s stunning. Presidents have always stretched the truth and outright lied occasionally. Trump lies constantly even when there’s no reason. 239? I’ll bet it’s much closer to 300. The most I’ve ever weighed is about 240 and my ass has never been close to as wide.
