He has a history degree from the University of Rochester. He later attempted grad school for politics and economics, but dropped out. So he has not mastered any area of study (M.S. or M.A.), much less earned the title of "expert" aka Ph.D.

But there he is on t.v. talking finance, economics, and now medicine.
