Norway if better would have millions wanting to move there and that is not what reality shows.

And I was born and raise here in the US. I tell my students considering grad school that they should look to Scandinavia (and Europe more generally).

If the healthcare of people doesn't come first, something is seriously wrong with the model

Norway's immigrant population is about 12.2% and the immigrant population of the USA is about 14.4%. Not a huge difference.

The USA has thousands of miles of land border with other countries (Canada and Mexico) and thousands more of easily accessible coastline. Norway's land border is almost all with Sweden, and its coast is anything BUT readily accessible.

From conversations with the Norwegians I know (and yes, I understand Norwegian) Norway envies us in any way except that we have Hawaii and they don't.

I wonder how good your Norwegian is to think they are having a "sad." I'd like to see some videos or texts in Norwegian that back that up.

We have a great presidential candidate that advocates for universal health care. But for some reason suddenly the country doesn’t want it. Implementation is the way to go apparently. Maybe in 50 years we may get it.

It's disingenuous to suggest anything more.

Just some downsides (depending on your worldview):
- Tax rate is c. 40%
- High death rate from drug overdoses (means they don't even come close to other EU countries; meaning they got social problems bit time!)
- Among most expense place in the world to get a glass of wine (which is actually healthy!)
- Among the top 5 most expensive places to fill your gas tank despite having oil reserves (not a bad thing), just saying.

One can find utopias everywhere online; it's another matter offline.
