Mitch McConnell faces backlash for 'urgent' coronavirus tweet during three-day recess

Published 1 min ago on March 16, 2020
By Travis Gettys

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is facing widespread criticism for highlighting his “urgent” priorities despite sending senators home for an extended weekend break during the coronavirus outbreak.

The Kentucky Republican tweeted out a list of those priorities — including a coronavirus relief package — Sunday evening from his iPhone, and he was met with condemnation.

progressives refused to sit in the back of the bus, refused to roll over, refused to accept the systemic bullshit the GOP are peddling to keep their socio-economic privileges.

I like your thinking though!

She is the one person that should have juicy morsels on all of them!

There is no way Doofus Rump is not a bragging asshole all the time?

Can she be understood? We will have Gilbert on stand by just in case?

Maybe she comes from the part of the world that inspired Hostel II. That was freaky as hell.

is better than the front! He is one homely man. I can't decide if he is more pleasant when he smiles, or when he smirks. His outside must reflect his inside. He is vile, selfish, money grubbing, Russian ass-et. His "wife" is no better. Charming couple of greedy con artists.

I've always wondered how much crime he and his in-laws have gotten by with while he's been in office. We've heard about the in-laws and drugs found on their ships. How many didn't get caught? How did Mitch become so rich while in office?

I just hope to live long enough to see that smirk wiped off his face.
