...if you were in country.

I heard about it from some villagers and I did not believe them.

Many months later, after return to the States, I heard more details about the massacre.

It also marks the beginning of Colon POWELL's career to cover up, enable, and ass-kiss for Old White Men.

I read the article that detailed the individuals involved and the cover up. Shocking and disappointing.

So I don’t remember it when it happened. But I read a lot and my husband loves the history channel and I’ve never seen or heard about it until today. The article I linked to that talks about each of the main players was disgusting because they really did all get away with a tap, not even a slap, on the hand.

There was a story about her some time ago.

Fascinating to read about, but so horrid to know our country did this.

To put into another perspective.

GI's were pissed off. There was a lot of anger toward the war and the Vietnamese people . "Kill the little gooks - they will just grow up to be big gooks" was a common phrase.

I remember it well. I was in Vietnam but I was anti-war. I could see what it was doing to our young men.
