Abigail Disney, granddaughter of the Walt Disney Co. co-founder Roy Disney, has a history of criticizing the company that helped make her incredibly wealthy.

According to WDW News Today, which is not affiliated with Disney, the images were taken at Sunday’s showing of “Happily Ever After” at Disney World ahead of its closure. Considering the push to #StayAtHome amid the coronavirus pandemic, the images of people clearly not “social distancing” struck a chord across the internet.

A source at Disney told MarketWatch that the gathering “was not some sort of party” and that the crowd was actually lighter than usual for fireworks shows. Last week, Disney announced the closure of its iconic holiday destinations but said that the hotels of Disneyland Resort would remain open until Monday to give the guests time to make the necessary travel arrangements.

Another good tweet of hers:

Good to have a billionaire or two on our side...........

1. It was the last day. I wish the billionaires would shut up.

Does she understand the meaning of the park will close until March 31st at 1155 pm on Sunday, March 15th? She is a whole lot of ignorant.

5. She's clueless as to understanding this was the last opportunity to go before closing the place

Stunning how she missed the reports of this. Why would people who spent thousands of dollars for their once in a lifetime trip skip this? Serious privilege going on there in her beliefs.

But I get it... sometimes we want to pretend our own inferences are absolute. Let's us feel more clever about ourselves.

Stunning, indeed.

trying to control a pandemic that could kill a million or so people here in the US.

Yeah, that is some serious privilege there.

6. I agree, now you are unlikely to catch the virus at Disney...

but only because it is closed.

When it is open, you are standing in lines about 2 to 3 feet away from other people, many, many other people, often for an hour or two at a time.
And when it is particularly crowded, certain areas become so funneled with foot traffic, you could almost pick up your feet and still move along in the crowd.

on a cruise ship. It has been 16 days since disembarking the ship.
And zero symptoms of fever, cough or breathing problems.
Had a great time on the cruise!!
Ready to do again in 3 months.
I am in late 70's, there is no time left to waste not living it up.
But I am also in great shape physically with regular exercise for last 25 years.

Just because the risk of transmittal is higher on a cruise ship, certainly does not mean you are guaranteed to catch it.
And some people who do catch it are asymptomatic. So, hopefully, you'll be one of the lucky ones. Hindsight is 20/20.

cleaner in general. The ship gives you a tour through the kitchen galley,
and then compare with your restaurant kitchen and the difference is obvious.

There is plenty of opportunity on a large cruise ship such as the Oasis of the Seas
to keep yourself safe from others. That ship has a living forest of trees and bushes!
Birds actually live there permanently. That ship is so large, walking from the cabin to
the dining room and back registered 1/2 mile walk on my pedometer. I feel less risk
on a ship like that over shopping for food in a grocery store.

However I am avoiding visiting Asia & Europe because infections are high right now.
Caribbean and south America is safer right now.
