One of his big issues is getting rid of birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants, which brings this question to mind: why stop at barring birthright citizenship for children of illegals? Since the Republicans don't like anything in the Constitution except for the Second Amendment, why not require everyone to perform an act to become a citizen? It could be anything from taking the naturalization test to performing federal service a la Starship Troopers, but get rid of this pesky birthright citizenship and become the first nation on earth where just being born here doesn't automatically make you a citizen.
