Have you ever used the GasBuddy website?

On GasBuddy you can search for who has the cheapest gas in your area. You can also report the prices at a gas station.

Is there, or shouldn't there be a website where you can check and see who has certain emergency supplies? You could also report the situation at different stores at different times. Between COVID-19 and the upcoming hurricane season, it seems like that would be worth putting together. Anyone?

doesn't go away once you exit out of it. I need to turn my Android phone off and then back again to kill it, before it kills my battery. It's much easier to Google up "gas prices in (city)" and use that.

I recall that Gas Buddy, etc. contributed to panic in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. It could well be the same with an emergency supply website. Also, everybody's always looking to avoid getting ripped off on gasoline, especially while traveling out of one's home area. Your proposed emergency supplies website would only be useful quite infrequently, so there's no incentive to get one up and running.

Also for food there is a good app called SuperCook where you can mark everything in your pantry/fridge/freezer and it will tell you what you can cook.
