Well, I officially am working from home for the next two weeks

Lucky that I have a job, for the moment, that is still required in the current world situation. My Gf had a ton of PTO saved and is taking 3 weeks (she’s I. A high risk group and worked in supermarket). Her daughter and husband aren’t as lucky. They both got furloughed today🙁. There is a good chance that within the month they’ll be living with us. Her son is up in Eugene Oregon. As of yesterday, the city had no, zero, zilch paper products. He was in school to become a machinist. He may have to road trip back here if things don’t improve in the next month and live with us.

Reading sci-fi is fun, living it sucks.

The schools and parishes have been closed beginning today through the end of the month. People will still receive pay and benefits. I am working from home as well.

Both my daughters will be at home from public school. My younger daughter started today. My older daughter will begin tomorrow after getting her assignments and instructions for remote classroom today.

My state is on for voting tomorrow, and you can bet I will be voting.
