SoCal DUERS check in.

My gf and I live in Woodland Hills. It hardly rains here. For the month of March the average is four days of rain per year and highs in the low seventies. It feels like it hasn't hit seventy for weeks and it's been raining every single day. The weather is adding to the apocalyptical feeling.

...this has been a very trying time.

I'm feeling quite gloomy.

And it's apparently gonna get worse before it gets better, all things considered.

At least I can work from home...assuming my client continues to have work for me to do, which is an uncertainty.

Yeah it's been raining off and on here. Which has only added to the misery. It sucks. I really hope things will get better. I really do.

I can remember it taking me 2 hours to drive to work in Hollywood when it rained like that. No street or freeway drainage.

Hang in there. It will stop.

it's cold and rainy but, hey, I am feeling somewhat quarantined anyway. It was just bucketing down in sherman oaks.

But then again... in August it'll be 107 degrees.

I was eyeing all the fresh powder up there. Would have been skiing later this week, but they went and closed all the ski resorts.

BTW -- February was one of the driest months on record. We need this.

...are greening, and the wild mustard makes swathes and splashes of sunshine yellow in the hills. I am hoping the iris bulbs I planted the past 2 Springs will finally take the hint and bloom like the daffodils I put in.
