I need to stop checking Dow futures

I find myself looking at the Dow futures overnight almost every day now, and the more I think about it, this isn't healthy.

I hate living in an atmosphere of fear about the unknowns. I hate being so keyed up about our economy being in free fall.

On the bright side, I know America will spring back from this, but part of me just wants to know how bad it's going to get before it starts getting better. Right now, I do not have a lot of positivity.

Reminds me after 9/11 I bounced from one news channel to another. Followed the stock market almost every day.

Futures up a bit this morning and Trump's network already giving his blathering yesterday credit.

It makes me sick to see how much money I've "lost" in the past 3 weeks.

A month ago, my wife and I were calculating how we could semi-retire after this year. Now, she's probably out of work for the school year and we'll be relying on my income. We'll be okay, at least for the time being but I can only imagine the stress and fear many, many Americans (and others around the world) are feeling because of the economic disaster the virus has wrought.

Our so-called leaders have utterly failed to do their jobs.

Trump, you suck, you idiot.
