And it only took this world-wide pandemic, a Wall Street crash and the shutdown of most of our economic activity. Thanks Trump!

2. Minimizing gatherings of groups of people is probably the best option.

I am down to one visit per week to stores to buy food and necessities.
Staying away from restaurants & bars and canceled my routine 6 month visit to doctor's
office due to lack of any symptoms.

Is that Trump takes victory laps - and the media amplifies them - for the bare minimum. Celebrating a president that puts others first is NOT a success. That is table stakes.

He is acting to save his own skin. If he wasn't getting the backlash that he's been getting, he would be doing the same thing. He is doing what he is doing because he absolutely has to.

He does not learn. He acts out of self interest.

14. What irritates me is that the media keep either "hoping" or hyping this "pivot".

Its like they are a battered spouse who is just waiting for that magical day when their partner will actually stop hitting them. Everything is transactional to this man. He has no core values. He lacks empathy. He sees the world in terms of self preservation and profit. They media should already know that, and cover Trump's actions as such.

Much like his supporters. Every time I see someone mention some kind of hope that "THIS disaster" will be the straw that breaks the camel's back, I just shake my head. Trump's collaborators are completely fucked in the head, as is he, and we have to accept that and act accordingly. False hope for redemption or mind-changing does us no good.

He is still being a dick on Twitter. He is still lying. Being 90% asshole instead of 100% asshole still means he is an asshole.

To improve Dump's image in the mind of many Americans I mean. Will Dump be seen as a hero now and come November as well? Few Presidents have had such a golden opportunity to bribe the American people ... and never so directly.

Oh, and you can be real sure he'll both take ... and be given credit for it by much of the media.
