that he was going to take back the 1+ Trillion in tax breaks to the 1% and use it for the stimulus package?

NO?? So he wants to increase the debt to 2 trillion and still give the wealthy a huge tax break???

And we SHOULD ask, as you did: Where are we getting the money? Who will pay down the debt? Or will Mnuchin keep printing the money until it's worth absolutely nothing?

So, borrow a trillion pay back 900 billion. It’s the right thing to do.

Let’s borrow another trillion for infrastructure. That spending will kick in once we get past the virus and we need to do it anyway.

Stimulus plan costing $1 trillion is in consideration as Senate moves to pass Phase 2 relief bill

During a closed-door lunch with Republican Senators, treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin proposed a stimulus plan that would cost up to $1 trillion. The plan includes $250bn of direct aide to Americans, with a number of Republican senators telling reporters they’d prefer that to tax cuts.
