I'll be hitting Aldi, tomorrow morning. I have a fear of running out of water softener salt.

Aldi is limiting certain items (eggs, milk, TP, bread). Not sure what I'll find, but I'll be there, right at 9.

This is a perfect example of why it's so important to "flatten the curve." Picture those empty shelves if people would crash the health care system needing ventilators and respirators. And the thing to keep in mind is those will run out much quicker than those store shelves will.

Managed to get my requisite 2 packs of TP (Angel Soft as the Mrs prefers but they’re normal rolls, not the mega rolls) at a Publix along with some other staples. Then checked a Target near me for some meats but no luck. We’re out of chicken and only a few lbs of ground beef left. But there was plenty of everything else except maybe the target brand of chicken nuggets (which we prefer over Tyson brand)

Got blackberries, grapes, Fuji apples, bananas, bags of hearts of romaine, hot dogs, buns, canned soups, canned veggies, pasta, Alfredo and tomato sauces

crowds lessen. I am so curious if it is worse in red areas of hoarding by people that think this is a Democratic hoax.

No problem for most things, but toilet paper was all gone but two or three small packages, and there were only maybe a dozen sacks of dried white beans, which I bought 2 of. I live in a rural area and so far so good. No cases of the virus, yet in my area.

I read earlier, I think on here that Americans have been spending more at restaurants than at grocery stores since 2015. With quarantines, a lot less people will be getting their food from restaurants, even with them sill offering delivery. People won't trust others handling their food. This is going to put a lot more demand on groceries. The supply chain may not be able to adjust so quickly.
