6. Bars. Closed? On St. Patrick's Day?

Talk about slighting an ethnic group.

This, after being dissed by Google in not having a St Patrick's Day doodle.

The Irish haven't advanced since the 1870s, I see. When the going gets tough, pick on the Irish.

I mean, "no groups larger than 10"? Sure. I'm down with drinking alone or in a small group, and it's best with multiple smaller groups in competition than one large group. I'm even down with serious drinking before 5. But stopping at 5 pm? I mean, the Sun's not even set by then. It's not even time to leave the office. (Okay, don't connect that "drinking before 5" with "not even time to leave the office".)

We can do without the green beer--preferably for forever.

4. What ever will people who work in these establishments do for money?

Will people be thrown out in the street if they can't pay rent? Electricity? heating?

My guess is that those who will be out of work will be those least able to survive.

Who's going to risk getting sick? I think citations in general will go down.

I bet the liquor stores are packed! Nobody likes their beer more than people from Wisconsin! Big Packer fan here, many great trips to cheeseland.

14. I can just see it now - impromptu tailgate parties in liquor store parking lots...

Waiting for the store to open in the morning.

And when people see a liquor delivery truck in their rear view mirror, they'll pull onto the shoulder to get out of the way - like they do for emergency vehicles.

Yeah, they're nutz up here.
