This isn't the flu... this is a novel virus... the rules are not written.

It doesn't care what people "believe" about what it can do and can't do.

Spread in hot weather... yup.

They have a huge STD rate. My friends moved their 8 months ago and I did some research. I told them that if they turn GOP I will never speak to them again. They said the seniors are living the rest of their lives like they have nothing to lose. They don't give a shit about dying apparently, my friends do though and are at risk.
I hope they don't spread it to others but we know they will. Selfish assholes!

My mother and her friends up in PA are being really smart about this; they're all 70's through 90's and HIGHLY sociable. I know my mother will go a bit stir crazy but she said she'd treat herself to a drive if she needs to get out of the house. I suggested driving up to see her and she sort of hesitated. Same with my nephew who works at a grocery store while going to college. She's ain't playing.

Schools out for the duration of the year. All tourist destinations closed. Bars and nightclubs closed for 30 days. Restaurants encouraged to do carry out and regulated as to density.

A few of the beaches are a problem but I’m not sure the governor can clear them since they are not state regulated. But some counties have closed them. And a normal non-spring break beach would be a safe place. They are often not that crowded and the sunlight is beneficial.

We’ve done more than most states. And NYC which is a head scratcher unless I’m behind the times on my news. Have they closed schools yet?

We need to bite the bullet or else the results long term will be a lot more devastating. Nip it, nip it in the bud!

Or factual. I can’t stand our governor but he is doing better than many.

We forgot to our peril that not all republicans are as stupid or obviously incompetent as trump. Our governor has the sense enough to listen to the scientist. He’s horrible in his social and justice policies. But smart enough to understand what a pandemic means.

Which I guess I’m happy for. If we had some other governors we would be looking at more dead in the next few weeks. As much as I want to see him fail, I don’t when it means people might die. Not worth it.

We are pretty much shut down. I’m still working but with a skeleton crew who we do not let get within 6 feet of each other. Some things have to keep running.

Heat has no impact on this virus....

Brazil 300+ Cases
Argentina 68 Cases
South Africa 62 Cases
Australia 400+ Cases

Again, heat has NO IMPACT on this virus.

anyone questioning:

Why are there no cases in India? There are. Look at the map.
Why are there no cases in Mexico/South America? There are. Look at the map.
Why are there no cases in Africa? It is. Look at the map.
The virus dies in heat, I heard. You heard wrong. Look at the map.
