(18,670 posts)When I lived in SLC, I was right on a major fault line and an earthquake was one of my biggest fears. Thats a rather large earthquake to happen in a place that has sand as a foundation. Be safe!
Just texted my daughter who has been sick in bed. It woke her up and she felt an aftershock before my text went through. It woke up my friend in Holladay. My daughter lives near Liberty Park. My daughter is relieved it was a small one to relieve the pressure (hopefully). At least shes feeling better this morning.

(13,485 posts)My son and I were baking some bread and we bounced upward a couple times then rocked back and forth. Then I woke up the rest and got into the door frames. Some pictures fell but not much else.

(3,179 posts)My poor little dog tried to jump into my arms. Just had a good aftershock shake the water in my toilet. Pretty scary. Direct TV has gone down.
