Tweet from 73 year old Navy vet about trump's inadequate response to coronavirus

Michael Proia@MikeJoPro
I am 73 years old with health issues and I am pissed off. Pissed at having to put whatever life I have left on hold due to an inadequate response by our President who choose to ignore reality in order to keep his reelection chances on track. He is not worthy of anyone's support.

I swear this is a meme at this point. Repeated so often it must be true? Where is it coming from?

I can be charitable I guess, and say that people who say this and things like it (e.g., that he delayed testing because he didn't want to hurt his reelection chances) actually mean to say (but don't) is that "Dump ignores reality because in that warped, sick mind of his, he thinks that this will help his reelection chances".

From the White House!

From the very beginning, they tried to play it down.
Why? Because high numbers could cause a pandemic and ruin the stock market.

The DOW started dropping around Feb 20, 2020, and what did Pendejo45 say?
He criticized CNN and MSNBC for “panicking markets.”
He said at a South Carolina rally — falsely — that “the Democrat policy of open borders” had brought the virus into the country.
He lashed out at “Do Nothing Democrat comrades.”

On Feb. 26, he said: “We’re going down, not up. We’re going very substantially down, not up.” about the number of infected citizens.
On Feb. 27, he predicted: “It’s going to disappear. One day — it’s like a miracle — it will disappear.”
On Feb. 29, he said a vaccine would be available “very quickly” and “very rapidly” and praised his administration’s actions as “the most aggressive taken by any country.”

This guy is an IDIOT Supreme!

They want all of the most awful shit you can imagine to happen and they're hoping we're all going to die a long and horrible death while Jesus says "fuck you" to the rest of us as all of his followers are sucked up into heaven. My fundie mother is one of them. Scary.

We may talk slow but we ain't stupid - well, not so stupid we don't realized that it was a hoax last week and a national emergency this week.

It is time that we as a nation insist on Trump's removal. He has betrayed us and failed to carry out his oath of office by flooding us with lies, hate and gross incompetence while using his office for personal gain. Stop all this nonsense. He is no President to any of us.

Hey gristy, does this fit in with your "programmed responses that someone is making up and everyone's repeating it" theme?

1) Eliminated Pandemic Response Unit because he says he's a businessman saving money by eliminating cost. (Went bankrupt repeadedly).

2) Denies reality by blaming warnings of pandemic on Dems, calls it a hoax. Likes stock market, hates people.

3) GOP totally submissive to an irresponsible madman.

Lock him up.

Though all efforts may be for naught. Maybe going after the enablers of reckless behavior instead of Trump will be more effective. Like Collins:
