It hit me while I was checking out of a drug store - I had just a couple of items in my hand. Turned the UPC code so she could scan them while I held them. Didn't need the receipt. The only physical contact with the store was doing my credit card.
Just called my credit card companies, and asked for replacement cards with the contactless feature built in.
Their contact numbers on on the back of each card. One took 3 minutes, the other I was on hold 10 minutes. Able to keep the same number, too.

Very timely in our new world.

(310 posts)I'm getting old and am a little intimidated by all the pay methods. Twenty years ago, I'd be on the cutting edge of all that stuff. Nowadays, simplicity is my BFF - which kinda sucks, because simplicity and being hip don't hang out together very often.
