Holy shit, Boeing, who spent $43 billion on stock buybacks in 2017/18, now needs a bailout???

Holy shit, Boeing spent *$43 billion* on stock buybacks, helping more than double its stock price in 2017-2018, enriching shareholders, only to meltdown from its mass produced faulty planes and the current coronavirus crisis. Now they need a bailout?

When this ends they can apply for low interest loans and go through bankruptcy just like many other businesses will be forced to do.

They have their hands in lots of other Pies so let the other divisions support the company’s commercial aircraft division.

Even though their injury is self inflicted. Their problem is that they forgot how to build safe, reliable aircraft, not the effects of the flu.
Incompetence, deceit and mismanagement will be rewarded.
