What if money were no object?

4. The response has been a cluster because of Trump(&Co)'s negligence, incompetence and malice.

As we've seen, Congress is willing to allocate plenty of money. But they can allocate infinite money and not accomplish anything if the executive branch refuses to act, or insists on acting in a counterproductive manner.

This is one of those situations where the money matters a great deal, but execution is the make-or-break factor. IOW, money is necessary but not sufficient. With Trump and Co in charge, money is not the factor limiting the response. So, in one sentence: if money were no object the response would look the same.

5. Money isn't an object. We can print money. We can't print registered nurses or med techs.

We don't have enough of them even for normal times, and that's going to be the limiting factor.
