releasing the virus. To me that might be like Trump's press secretary popping off with a tweet. That didn't necessarily mean it was an official statement from the Chinese government. One from them denouncing it would have been good, but it wasn't helpful for Trump and his people to counter with the "Chinese virus".

It appears that spokesperson may have gotten that from Russian propaganda. So in a way it's like the Biden/Ukraine crap and Trump is reacting to it. Putin is Bart Simpson and Trump is Moe.
