Share in my annoyance??
As of yesterday I began to grow increasingly anxious realizing the extroverts couldn't stay hidden for long. They had to start reaching out, posting themselves doing things, organizing social brightness in the community. I was happy before then when the expectation to interact with people was slowly waning, the pressure was off me to "be out there". Now today I'm ready to just scream. As an introvert I was letting the anxiousness of constant pressure to connect fade away, finally this is the new norm!!! Not so fast exclaimed the extroverts. Is it really so hard to just lock yourself away for a few days and shut up??

and perfectly fine with this... my son though 
his longtime girlfriend broke up with him and he is so heartbroken and lonely... he said he is trying to reach out and everyone tells him, maybe in a few weeks/months 
I told him not to take it personally
Looking back over my 72 years, I see how society constantly pressured me to be more outward and "popular", the loudmouth in the bar, the forward leader in my workplaces, etc., and that just was not me.
It's a wonder I survived the many years of stress.
I think us introverts have to learn to be totally comfortable in our private space, but also invite others in when we're emotionally ready.
Right now, today, I prefer to isolate and maybe just phone a neighbor.........
Tomorrow, I hope to shower and get out and do a little necessary shopping after I prepare myself....

Don't get me wrong: I LOVE HIM!
I love spending time with him.
But not 24-7 for weeks on end.
I like my space!
I like my alone time.
I am not going to do well with a prolonged "shelter in place".
What'll you do when it's permanent?
I hope to work for at least another 5-10 years.
He's already gone to part-time, as part of his long-term strategy to scale back and then retire.
