Apparently Lindsey Graham and others are talking the orange baboon out of any stimulus checks for individuals...just increase unemployment checks....

Gets it according to what I just read.$500 for each child. Over $75.000 so much is taken away. Those over $99,000 get nothing.

l haven't heard anyone say that group is included, or any other low or no income groups either. What about the homeless with no address or bank account?

Lots of questions, but the only thing that is certain is the "haves" will be sure to get theirs.

but it’s different when it’s meant to be a stimulus. Both are important to try to keep the economy on life support. It’s not the people that should be helped, as much as it’s the economy. Trying to keep businesses afloat long enough so they survive.

They will need 60 votes to pass a bill in the senate. That means the thugs will have to offer the dems something meaningful, which his caucus won't allow.

Then it has to pass the house.

There is ZERO chance they will get both a corporate bailout and an individual relief bill through both houses.

But spending bills have to originate in the house, so they at least have to wait for the house bill to get to them and then work on that.

Anything mcconnel negotiates with his caucus is just a circle jerk. It won't go anywhere.

Aid should be reserved to people who got screwed by this thing, and not people like me, who are suffering no loss in income as a result of this virus.

It's an attempt to buy off the votes of the mushy middle, and to provide cover for the business moguls who will reap hundreds of billions at the same time. Cake for them, crumbs for us to keep us quiet.

This was reported by one of major news outlets that mentioned something about people who had income up to $2500 per month from income that isn't subject to federal tax.

Anyone with an income of more than 75K start having the amount reduced until at around 100K it goes away.

Which means the wife and I will get nothing as we earn well over the maximum. And I am fine with that. Couples in our situation are not suffering and should not be getting government money. Frankly we should be paying more taxes than we are.

I would prefer it only go to those losing jobs, but that would be hard to figure and a moving target.
