Senate G.O.P. Plan Includes Large Corporate Tax Cuts

As U.S. cases surged past 10,000, doctors pleaded for protective gear and the State Department warned against international travel, the death toll in Italy climbed to 3,405, surpassing China’s.

RIGHT NOWSenate Republicans unveiled an economic rescue plan that would provide hundreds of billions of dollars worth of loans to big corporations and small businesses, large corporate tax cuts and checks of $1,200 for taxpayers, as well as limits on a paid leave program.

Retooling to make medical supplies and ventilators, forgiving rent on properties, forgiving loan loan payments, producing food items and maintaining current supply at cost, continuing to pay for salaries and benefits of affected employees, etc.

A portion gets written off at tax time and they get additional Public Relations benefits like a huge plaque or mention at the back of an event program.
