a program that looks at associated words...this is about giving trump all your info, we text more than talk now, the voice recordings are a much larger file and have to be interpreted, text does not...idk

I might talk on the phone three times a week and about the same with texting. I only check my email twice a week.

Maybe they'' find out how boring most of us are.

The location of every cell phone is inherently knowable, because otherwise the system wouldn’t work.

It has always been that way, because it has to be that way. The “cell” in “cell phone” refers to the cellular arrangement of local areas around each transmission tower.

The emergency alert system did not provide the government with location data of cell phones. It does allow messages to be sent to devices within a defined area, but there it would be fundamentally stupid for the system to be collecting data on any phones.

The technical requirements for the system were developed in 2007 and 2008. Perhaps some historical genius will figure out who was President then.

on private citizens?..this would violate privacy laws, I would not underestimate them
plus the cat is out of the bag, this tracking access works on a early outbreak

Welcome to Democratic Underground. If you want to accuse a Democratic administration of having hatched some evil plot, it would be helpful if you at least took some minimal effort to figure out what you are talking about.

Oh, never mind. Lost in fantasy that someone was actually leading.
