Just the major theme parks closed. Some stores are starting to close (like Home Goods, Old Navy). Florida Mall near the airport and the outlet malls are closing
Some restaurants have gone to to-go only but many are open and using social distancing (seating every other or every third table)

(11,949 posts)Went to Publix this afternoon on the way home from work for a few items we needed. Had a paper towel in a baggie doused in Alcohol and doused down every thing I touched. And everything I touched went into my carriage.
But OMG. Even though it was not crowded, which is why I went in, it was impossible to keep 6 feet from others because they werent even trying. I felt like I was playing dodgeball! And they had just rolled out a few pallets of TP and it was a scrum on that aisle. Which I avoided like the plague. People were loading up their carts only to have all but one confiscated at the checkpoint which caused some consternation.
But the worst thing I saw was some older guy in the prepackaged cold cut section. He was picking up and putting down multiple different ones while talking to someone on his phone about the one they wanted. Horrifying! Saw the same dude in line and he had bought a package of rolls and had actually taken one out and was eating it in line!
I have to work because my job protects critical infrastructure and I thought going to work was my largest risk. But my(our) company is taking amazing precautions to keep us safe. Now going to the grocery scares me more than anything else.
We are totally fucked here in Florida.

In fact, bleeding and airway in a strict sense could be stated to be the only real dental emergencies: that if someone has such a bad infection that their throat is closing off, then they need hospitalization. Bleeding as well. Anything else in theory may be controlled by medication
Im speaking technically not altruistically.
