(75,480 posts)I'm happy it was wrong. I couldn't believe Wisconsinites would vote for any Republican after what they have been through.

(27,985 posts)It's a lot tighter race here than that. This is one of the most politically divisive places in the nation. Walker has something like an 89% approval rating with the Republicans here. This state is a whole lot more contentious than a lot of people realize or admit. This state is still split right down the middle and each side is fighting very very hard.
The recall will not be a breeze; not by a longshot.
I wish it were as cut and dried here as some seem to think it is, but it's not. We have a tough fight ahead of us yet.
Cleita
(75,480 posts)that they are approving of a person who, if allowed free rein, will destroy your state. That's a pity. Our Republicans in CA have already destroyed our state through a string of disastrous Republican governors.

(8,879 posts)in my poli-sci class, I'm hearing a lot of grumblings about the president. I think some of these people would vote for a well dressed cow-pie before they would vote democrat. It's a very contentious state we're living in.
