So far, these Florida beaches are closed:

1. Every public beach in Miami-Dade County.
2. All public beaches in Fort Lauderdale.
3. All public beaches in Tampa.
4. All public beaches in Naples.
5. All public beaches in Lee County.
6. All public beaches in Clearwater. Pinellas County is not ordering beaches outside Clearwater closed.

Essential businesses include: grocery stores, food banks, outdoor farmer’s markets; schools; childcare; businesses that provide food/shelter/social services/other necessities of life for economically disadvantaged people; gas stations; banks; financial institutions; hardware stores; plumbers, electricians; healthcare operators and facilities; transportation services; residential facilities.

However, these businesses must comply with the order’s social distancing and hygiene requirements, including providing access to hand washing facilities with soap and water or with hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol.

My cousin was going to go to Walgreens for me next week to get my moms meds. She said they don’t deliver to medicare patients.

As harsh as it sounds, a stay-at-home order still allows for a measure of free movement. Just means that you're not supposed to partake in activities that involve groups of people, unless absolutely necessary.

Note though, a measure. You're not going to be able to do your shopping in large scale malls or shopping centers, but stand-alone stores are fine.

It’s very strange. All things considered, I’m in about as fortunate a situation as I could be... no stress about housing, a stable company with good benefits and plenty of pto on the books, and part of a very, very minimal crew that is still working as we have accounts we supply that are open due to being considered essential businesses. So, in my quiet office with three other people who are all being very cautious and doing everything possible to avoid spreading anything.

And even still, it’s very nervous-making. It’s stressful- mostly the uncertainty. What if this does go on for months? What if I or a loved one gets ill? Health-wise, financially, the logistics of dealing with basic needs... Everything about this is stressful and scary. The shelter in place is necessary to keep this from becoming an even worse disaster.

They’ve profited immensely off the fruits of the world’s labors. Time for them to show some gratitude
