Leadership: Dow Jones Futures Improve On California Stay At Home Order

Dow Jones futures and S&P 500 futures edged lower Friday morning, while Nasdaq futures rose modestly after California issued a "stay-at-home" order to slow the Covid-19 spread. A new stock market rally attempt is underway, after Thursday's gains. But during the coronavirus bear market, rally attempts have struggled to last more than a day.

The California stay-at-home order requires the state's 40 million residents to remain at home unless going to pharmacies, grocery stores and other "essential" services. Pennsylvania ordered all businesses that are not "life sustaining" to shut down.
