News on the Connecticut economy - multiply that by about 90

and, it's a devastating setback for the economy

This was in the Hartford Courant last night - 56,000 total unemployment claims in a WEEK. In a typical week, the state gets about 2,500 unemployment claims. Couldn't find that link, so have a link to the CT Post

56,000 minus 2,500 = 53,500. Multiply that by about 90 (CT has about 1/90 of the national population) and it's over 4.8 million - IN A WEEK.
