Miguel Patricio says there is no shortage of food and no one should be hoarding.
He said Kraft/Heinz is increasing production of food products and they are working with retailers to ensure timely deliveries.

Much of that contributing to the obesity in this country that is putting many at greater risk for dying from COVID-19....

(1,977 posts)Seriously it IS garbage food but It is shelf stable and it will deliver calories to your body. Over a short time (say a couple months) it wont have that much of an effect on your body. Mixed in with what good fresh food you can find it can sustain you. Mind you I am speaking in term of if we were in a scenario where there are massive disruptions in supplies. I guess what I am saying is that some of it isnt bad to have in a supply store.

(8,052 posts)I'm not going to make my own fucking mustard and cream cheese. I like the occasional melty grilled cheese sandwich--with Kraft singles. I keep packaged deli meat around for sandwiches. I eat Planter's nuts and Breakstone cottage cheese sometimes. I like A1 on my steaks.
