Is anyone else on Trumps SBA call ?! Larry Kudlow, "don't look at the stock market until we got this

... thing all fixed up" (sic)

Kudlow: " ... this wont go on for years .."

Kudlow: "... the president can fly faster than superman ..." (sic)

Just ... damn, ... people, ... we're on our own.

The federal government is way more interested in getting Trump elected.

As far as the virus: It seems to me, that most -- or all of us -- will be exposed over the next year.

For 80% of us it really will be similar to the flu or a cold. The other 20% will be sick enough to have to go to the hospital, or at least a doctor. Of those, maybe 10% will have to be hospitalized for a period if only to monitor to make sure they don't need a ventilator or palliative care. Of all the people that get it -- whether tested or not -- I think less than 1% will die (which is still horrible to think, but it's not like half of us die). If one succumbs, it does seem to happen relatively quickly.

The good news is that it appears people have immunity after it runs its course, at least short-term. Immunity might weaken by a year or so, or a new strain develops. Heck, it might even be easier to get a job after having CV19. A vaccine or at least better treatments will make a big difference.

But, who knows. Like you said on one of your posts, we are seeing -- and starting to think about -- things no one ever thought/worried about before.

As far as economy: I hope -- rather than know -- the government will throw enough at this to keep most people afloat and preserve companies so that there are places to work when things stabilize. Giving people that need it 12 months to pay mortgages -- and hopefully something for renters -- is a serious effort.

If one can believe trump, he said today that they are going to try the current proposals and if that is not enough, they'll do more. But, there will obviously be problems down the road.

The good news on economy: I'm betting we come out of this closer to Denmark and those Democratic Socialist countries than we ever would have gotten before.

Short answer -- I think it looks worse right now than it will in a year, especially if that MFer trump -- and some GOPers in Congress and locally -- are beaten soundly.

But, what the heck do I know.

What do you think?

5. I was thinking if we don't test and isolate we'll get to your 80% and when that happens ...

... the economic impact will be 2008 ish because the amount of money moving on the consumer level will be very low for around the time you mentioned ... BECAUSE ... we can't test and isolate.

There wont be tons of people going to movies etc with sick people in 3 months.

If we can get out 10 million test in the next 2 months then all bets are off. Trump will still lose the election though without Putin's funding 3rd party candidates in swing states like they did in 16.
